Alphanumeric Input
Model 640A is ideal for facilities where serial input of alphanumeric
messages is required. It can handle up to four simultaneous telephone inputs
for supervisors, operators, or receptionists to page people who may be
anywhere within the facility. The M640A can forward pages to commercial
systems for wide-area paging coverage. A supervisor can be paged inside the
factory or at home. Serial inputs can automate nurse-call and alarm systems
in hospitals.The M640A accommodates up to
6 inputs and is available with up to 10,000 pager capacity. The inputs can
be data ports from PCs or a LAN, telephone lines with direct user access
from standard telephones, or from remote PC’s fitted with modems. The Model
640A DAPT ALPHA has integrated modems. System management is from the
separate local or remote management terminal. |
